Some people find their calling early on, for owner Ilan Ethan his mother's punishment fueled his passion. Ilan’s Georgian mother and Greek grandmother banned the kids from the kitchen but the curious boy couldn’t resist sneaking into this wonderland of intriguing activities and aromas. As a penance he was put to work rolling out thin layers of filo dough and thus began his foodie journey. 

Known for his innovative flavors, sophisticated palette and generous spirit, Ilan’s baking is a unique combination of inspired and delicious, influenced by world flavors that he became interested in after his DNA test revealed he had Egyptian, Persian, Turkish and Mediterranean ancestry. Ilan regularly explores the international market for new and interesting ingredients.
